Run, Rune, run!

The Battle of the Portfolios All vs Rune is nearing its end: a week and a half to go, and although Rune has managed to overcome almost half a thousand positions upwards, it is still 217 positions away from first place.

* whispering: Seven days, seven days to win

It has also been seven days since the launch of MCCN and the first results can be summed up:

  • Multichain is stable
  • Vaults solvent
  • no funds lost
  • Some UI issues (fixed)

The team also laid out a plan for the coming year:

  • In the next 2–3 weeks, the network is expected to stabilise, after which the number of active nodes will be increased. Also, the entry caps will be raised — runtards have exhausted the limit of funds allowed to participate in the network in just the first day. The #RAISETHECAPS tag is gaining popularity on Twitter — although it still chaosnet, and the risk of losing funds is high, runtards are eager to try out MCCN, and are demanding that the developers raise the caps.
  • DOGE, XHV, Solana, Polkadot — the most in-demand blockchains, each of them will solve a different problem — are scheduled to be implemented next month. Solana and Polkadot are new blockchains that open up great opportunities for DeFi. XHV is needed to implement Monero and hidden payments and transfers. DOGE is just for fun and hype.
  • Brokkfinance will present their THORFi — DeFi concept on Thorchain. We are particularly looking forward to the appearance of the decentralised lending.
  • Within three months, the network should grow to 10 blockchains, 40-plus nodes, and more than 50 tokens. About 10 wallets are expected to interact with the network, including web and desktop versions.
  • If the network is stable, the Mimir key will be destroyed and Thorchain will move to mainnet (MCMN).
  • The second half of the year will be dedicated to the migration of Thorchain into community hands. Fully decentralised management and acceptance of changes by majority of nodes.
And even more wonderful things

And if we’re already talking about the extended Thorchain universe, its little sister, Sifchain, held its first round of Rowan token giveaways for wallets that participated in the Rune stacking. The first quarter of the entire amount was paid out. A nice bonus for some Runtards, although there are rumours that those who withdrew and sold their Rowan tokens will not receive the remains. Well, runtards aren’t used to Hodl!

One Runtard`s Rowans (5 275 000$)

Meanwhile, the portfolios that have fallen below $1,000 in profit are now 30 — it looks like the battle for last place will be just as heated as the top ten:
